PHOENIX — Brunch. Not quite breakfast, but not quite lunch either.
This fall, Breakfast Kitchen Bar will be opening a second Valley location at Desert Ridge Marketplace in north Phoenix, the restaurant announced in a press release.
“We’re a gathering spot where friends and family come for breakfast, colleagues meet for coffee or lunch and everyone has an exceptional experience,” owner Sam Ashek said in the release.
The locally-owned and operated restaurant provides a variety of niche dishes such as grilled cheese bacon French toast and churro waffles.
But the breakfast kitchen also caters to those that prefer healthier options with its keto-friendly menu that includes protein chocolate pancakes and Philly steak breakfast pizza.
For those looking for a refreshing beverage in the late morning hours, the bar offers drinks that include a spiced-pear mule and an espresso martini along with the classics like Bloody Marys and mimosas.
Vestar, the Phoenix-based shopping center company that owns and manages Desert Ridge Marketplace, recently completed a $22 million renovation in 2017.
“Breakfast Kitchen Bar’s emphasis on extraordinary chef-driven cuisines is a welcome addition to Desert Ridge Marketplace’s already stellar lineup of culinary destinations,” Jenny Cushing, vice president of leasing at Vestar, said in the release.
Breakfast Kitchen Bar will be located on the southwest corner of the center between Flower Child and Target.
